Job description
About the Role
We are looking to hire an enthusiastic professional specialized in Wireless Workforce Management Systems to join our team based in Singapore. The ideal candidate must have at least three years of relevant industry experience and be comfortable working onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Possess prior experience or familiarity with Workforce Management Systems (WWMS), mobile field service applications, or enterprise platforms such as SAP.
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced field service/workforce management solutions, including platforms like Verisae ViryaNet G4 or Accruent vField.
- Maintain accurate, real-time tracking of job statuses, meter readings, and subsequent actions via mobile or tablet interfaces.
- Engage actively in system enhancements, rigorous testing processes, and deployment of new digital capabilities or updates within the WWMS and its associated systems.
- Implement scalable solutions for meter reading that facilitate efficient field data collection and processing.
- Utilize microservices architecture with event-driven designs employing Apache Kafka to support scalable, real-time event communication among system components.
- Lead continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices, leveraging tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, along with various cloud platforms.
- Develop clear and comprehensive technical, functional, and operational documentation for software and systems.
- Contribute across the software development lifecycle including design, architecture, integration, testing, and support stages.
- Undertake responsibility for timely delivery ensuring alignment with project specifications and quality standards.
Skills and Expertise Required
- Expertise in Workforce Management Systems and enterprise application development
- Strong proficiency in microservices and event-driven software architectures
- Hands-on experience with cloud and container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Deep understanding of DevOps practices and automation using CI/CD tools including Jenkins and Git
- Integration skills and API development capabilities
- Familiarity with Electric Vehicle Charging standards such as OCPP and OCPI
- Application support knowledge aligned with ITIL operations
- Ability to design solutions and provide technical leadership
- Experience in agile delivery methodologies and managing stakeholder relationships
