Software Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Engage actively in gathering requirements and prepare the necessary technical and operational documentation.
• Collaborate closely with Solution Architect and Software Development Lead to analyze and design code modifications reflecting finalized product specifications.
• Implement code updates and conduct thorough testing to ensure alignment with product requirements.
• Adhere strictly to established coding standards, security protocols, and internal corporate guidelines.
• Execute quality assurance tasks including unit testing, system testing, and comprehensive code reviews.
• Support system integration testing by assisting the Test Team and addressing any identified issues.
• Offer support to both internal teams and external stakeholders during various testing phases.
• Assist customers during acceptance testing and after deployment to ensure smooth implementation.
• Contribute to the creation of training materials and lead training sessions or presentations when required.

Requirements

• Possess a diploma or bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Have practical experience of 2-3 years with Java, J2EE, SQL/PLSQL, and XML; familiarity with MySQL is advantageous.
• Proficient with web technologies including HTML5, CSS, modular design and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular (version 2 and above) or React.
• Experienced with RESTful APIs, Spring 5.x, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Security, cloud technologies, and micro-services architecture; knowledge of messaging middleware like Kafka, IBM MQ, or Solace is required.
• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and sound decision-making skills.
• Be a cooperative team member with a positive, proactive mindset.
• Domain experience in financial services or payment systems is considered a strong plus.
