Senior Java AWS Developer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer proficient in Java programming and AWS cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have more than nine years of relevant experience and be adept in database technologies including cloud-based databases such as PostgreSQL, RDS, and Snowflake. Familiarity with Python is an advantage.

Technical Requirements

• Expertise in Java, AWS (including Lambda, ECS), Spring Boot Microservices, and J2EE technologies.
• Strong skills in API development, integration, and building both REST and SOAP web services.
• Experience with cloud deployment and infrastructure architecture.
• Proficiency with testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito using TDD/BDD approaches.
• Deep knowledge of software development using PostgreSQL and other databases.
• Desirable skills include Python programming, analytical tools like QuickSight or Thoughtsight, and front-end frameworks like React or Angular.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification.
• At least seven years of professional software engineering experience on enterprise-level projects.
• Awareness of current technology trends and industry best practices.
