Python Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Python Developer to create and sustain backend services and data pipelines within live production environments. The ideal candidate produces clean code, establishes thoughtful architecture, and maintains long-term code reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and uphold Python-based backend services, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Produce clean, well-tested code adhering to current Python best standards.
• Design and execute RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Enhance service performance and optimize resource consumption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, data, and infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years experience developing production-level Python applications.
• Proficiency with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL or comparable relational database systems.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or GCP and containerization tools such as Docker.
• Familiarity with Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks including pytest.
• Ability to balance development speed and code quality pragmatically.
