Role Overview
This full-time, on-site position based in Dubai requires performing thorough inspections on residential and commercial buildings. The inspector’s daily activities include evaluating structural condition, safety compliance, documenting observations, and preparing detailed reports. Coordination with property managers, maintenance staff, and clients forms a crucial part of the role to schedule inspections, communicate findings, and recommend repairs or improvements. Additionally, the inspector supports property management efforts and identifies possibilities for additional maintenance services to enhance client experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of residential and commercial properties to assess condition and compliance.
- Identify defects, safety hazards, and maintenance requirements accurately.
- Document findings clearly and compile detailed inspection reports.
- Liaise with property managers, maintenance teams, and clients to schedule inspections and discuss results.
- Provide recommendations for repairs, improvements, or maintenance enhancements.
- Support property management operations and identify opportunities for new maintenance services or upgrades.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven expertise in property and general inspection processes.
- Understanding of property management principles and coordination with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to identify and propose new business or maintenance service opportunities.
- Strong customer service orientation with effective communication on inspection outcomes.
- Relevant background in facilities, construction, or building maintenance within residential or commercial domains.
- Competence in interpreting building plans, safety standards, and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational capability, and time management skills.
- Familiarity with digital tools for reporting, photography, and data management.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with readiness to travel across Dubai as required.
