Outsystems Architect

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Outsystems Architect to lead the design and development of sophisticated OutSystems applications. This role involves setting architectural standards, guiding development teams, and ensuring security and scalability throughout application lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and design advanced OutSystems applications according to industry best practices.
• Lead project teams from gathering requirements through to deployment phases.
• Establish and enforce architecture standards, frameworks, and guidelines for development.
• Engage with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
• Coach and mentor junior developers on OutSystems methodologies and practices.
• Continuously update knowledge of the latest OutSystems technologies and incorporate enhancements.
• Perform code reviews ensuring compliance with industry standards and secure coding practices.
• Oversee integration of external services and systems into OutSystems environments.
• Provide technical leadership during Agile/Scrum ceremonies and champion continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency with OutSystems 11 platform and Outsystems Development Center (ODC).
• Strong grasp of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relational databases.
• Familiarity with .NET framework for implementing custom code within OutSystems.
• Experience working within Agile and DevOps frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to design scalable, high-availability software applications.
• Strong focus on security measures and adherence to secure coding standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for multi-disciplinary collaboration.
• Capability to prioritize tasks and perform well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience collaborating closely with clients to meet project expectations.
• Holding an OutSystems certification (Associate or Professional) is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
