Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and debug software applications on mainframe platforms.
- Work closely with project managers and business analysts to gather and interpret project requirements.
- Create and update mainframe applications utilizing programming languages such as COBOL, JCL, and DB2, with optional knowledge of IMS and CICS.
- Identify and recommend enhancements to improve system performance and operational efficiency.
- Develop and enforce protocols and procedures for maintaining mainframe systems.
- Document system changes and new developments diligently.
- Offer ongoing support and maintenance to existing mainframe applications.
- Perform system analyses to identify and resolve issues, ensuring optimal system functionality.
Eligibility
Applicants should possess at least a graduate degree in any discipline.
