Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Emirati professionals to join our team as Loss & Damage Controllers responsible for monitoring and managing loss, damage, and incidents involving company vehicles, assets, and equipment. Candidates with 2 to 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, vehicle maintenance, automotive engineering, workshop management, or technical inspection are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and log all incidents of loss, damage, accidents, and faults related to company vehicles, assets, and equipment.
- Conduct initial investigations for loss or damage cases by collecting relevant information, documentation, photographs, and evidence.
- Collaborate with departments such as Operations, Fleet Management, Maintenance, Insurance, Security, HR, and Finance to address incidents.
- Review accident reports to determine causes and circumstances of loss or damage.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all cases, ensuring documentation is complete and cases are closed timely.
- Follow up on insurance claims, compensation, recoveries, and repair costs associated with the incidents.
- Ensure open cases are processed and resolved according to established procedures and timelines.
- Analyze recurring loss or damage incidents to identify trends, risks, and recommend actions to management.
- Propose and implement corrective and preventive measures to reduce recurrence of such cases.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, regulatory systems, and legislation.
- Prepare periodic reports and dashboards about cases, claims, recoveries, and costs.
- Track performance indicators related to case management, closure rates, recovery efficiency, and costs.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and investigations.
- Perform any additional related tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transport Management, Risk Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in loss and damage monitoring, fleet management, insurance claims, asset management, transport, or similar areas.
- Experience in incident investigation, case and claim management, and tracking is an advantage.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and coordination skills with multiple departments.
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- High accuracy in reviewing data and documents.
- Experience in transportation or fleet management sectors is a plus.
