Overview
Steenbok Pte Ltd is seeking a Java Software Developer to join their software development efforts focused on backend application design and implementation. This role supports a globally active client in the financial sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop and design Java applications utilizing the Spring Boot framework.
- Create maintainable, test-driven, modular, and reusable code while managing configurations.
- Handle deployment and oversee the product lifecycle within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Automate build, testing, and deployment procedures for continuous integration.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in Java versions 8, 11, and 17, with knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Solid expertise in Java Spring Boot framework development.
- Strong understanding of RESTful web services and PostgreSQL database systems.
- Experience with cloud application deployments specifically in Google Cloud Platform or AWS.
- Comprehensive experience across various levels of software testing.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and efficiency in codewriting.
- Prior software development experience in the banking or financial services industry.
