Position Overview
This opportunity is with a McDonald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald's USA. The franchisee holds the rights to use McDonald's branding and products but operates as a separate business and employer. The franchisee manages all employment decisions, including hiring, supervision, and scheduling, independently from McDonald's USA.
About the Role
As General Manager, you will be responsible for operating a profitable restaurant that consistently meets McDonald's high standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This leadership role entails working collaboratively with your superior to set business goals and devising strategies to achieve them.
You will guide a team of Department Managers, supporting them in goal setting, monitoring progress, and providing coaching to continuously enhance departmental performance, thereby improving overall restaurant success.
Additionally, you may oversee the recruitment and development of Department and Shift Managers to build a capable leadership team for the future.
Candidate Profile
Ideal applicants should have prior experience as a General Manager in high-volume quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail environments. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age to qualify as managers in corporate-owned McDonald's locations.
