Position Overview

FedEx Canada seeks a Courier responsible for courteous and efficient collection and delivery of packages along designated routes, ensuring all shipments conform to company service standards, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver packages on assigned routes promptly and professionally.
• Inspect shipments to confirm compliance with Federal Express Canada service guidelines.
• Offer related customer service support during delivery operations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Completion of high school or equivalent education.
• Valid driver's license with a strong driving record: no more than two violations or accidents in the past 24 months.
• Physical capability to lift up to 70 pounds and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 pounds using proper equipment.
• Preferred minimum of one year experience in customer-oriented business environments.
• Successful completion of mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training with required minimum scores.
• Familiarity with Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Capacity to multitask, manage stress effectively, and perform well under pressure.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules including holidays as per business needs.
• For residents of Quebec, bilingual proficiency in French and English is required.

Additional Information

• Working Hours: Full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Employment conditions include the possibility to undertake various other duties assigned, ability to operate PC Windows applications, and completion of recurrent training to maintain accreditations.
• Driver competency will be evaluated through driver's abstract review, interview performance, and additional assessments as needed.
