Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mid-level Back-End Developer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This position focuses on building and maintaining robust server-side applications using Java technology stack with a keen emphasis on clean code and system reliability.
Required Experience and Expertise
- At least 1 to 3 years of professional experience in back-end development.
- Proficiency in Java programming and project build tools like Maven.
- Strong knowledge of version control systems, primarily Git.
- Expertise in handling SQL databases and crafting efficient queries.
- Experienced in designing and consuming services with Rest, SOAP, and XML.
Preferred Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with Apache Camel integration framework.
- Familiarity with API specifications and documentation using OpenAPI and Stoplight.
- Knowledge of Remote Procedure Call (RPC) mechanisms and raw TCP socket interfaces.
Additional Advantages
- Using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence for agile project management.
- Basic understanding or working knowledge of front-end technologies including Node.js, Vue.js, and Nuxt.js.
- Proficiency in German language and other programming languages is a bonus.
