Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled AI Engineer to create, develop, and deploy intelligent machine learning systems and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to embed AI functionalities into scalable applications, utilizing Python and cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement AI/ML and LLM-driven applications tailored for practical use cases.
- Construct and deploy end-to-end LLM workflows including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and fine-tuning when relevant.
- Develop robust APIs and backend services facilitating integration of AI models within applications.
- Manage both structured and unstructured datasets, including data cleaning, transformation, and ETL pipeline creation.
- Enhance model efficiency in terms of performance, cost-effectiveness, and latency for operational scenarios.
- Deploy AI technologies leveraging cloud environments, with a preference for AWS serverless frameworks.
- Continuously track, assess, and refine model outputs to ensure optimal performance.
- Engage with cross-disciplinary teams spanning engineering, product, and design to drive project success.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working as an AI or Machine Learning Engineer.
- Proficiency in Python programming language.
- Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks such as OpenAI, LangChain, and LlamaIndex, as well as prompt engineering and RAG architectures.
- Strong foundational knowledge of machine learning concepts, data pipeline architectures, and ETL methodologies.
- Expertise in creating and deploying APIs using frameworks like FastAPI or Flask.
- Familiarity with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and vector search databases like Pinecone, FAISS, or Weaviate.
- Experience with AWS cloud services or similar cloud platforms.
- Understanding of software development best practices including Git version control, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
