Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for accounts.
- Update and maintain financial datasets using MS Excel and accounting software.
- Compile reports related to sales, collections, expenditures, receivables, payables, and outstanding balances.
- Perform reconciliation of bank statements, ledgers, and accounting records.
- Track payments and collections and prepare related reports.
- Keep organized records of invoices, receipts, expenses, and other financial documents.
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable while preparing aging analysis reports.
- Support the Accounts team in month-end closings and financial reporting activities.
- Review accounting data to detect inconsistencies or discrepancies.
- Prepare management reports and financial dashboards as needed.
- Collaborate with internal departments concerning billing, payments, collections, and financial data management.
- Ensure confidentiality and precision of financial information.
- Undertake other accounting and MIS-related assignments as directed by management.
Required Skills
- Proficient in MS Excel functions including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS, COUNTIF/COUNTIFS, and IF formulas.
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
- Familiarity with Tally or Tally Prime accounting software is desirable.
- Knowledge of GST compliance, invoice processing, reconciliation, and ledger maintenance.
- Excellent analytical and numerical aptitude.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and coordination abilities.
- Capability to produce precise reports within strict timelines.
