About the Internship
This internship offers an opportunity to work closely with senior Django developers to build and enhance web applications. You will be designing and implementing various web components using Django MVC architecture, integrating APIs, ensuring code quality through reviews and testing, and documenting technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior developers to understand and deliver project requirements.
- Develop database models, views, templates, and forms using Django's framework.
- Maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code aligned with best practices.
- Integrate third-party APIs and libraries to improve application features and user experience.
- Engage in code reviews, debugging, and testing to maintain application reliability.
- Create documentation covering technical details and user guides.
Candidate Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Strong understanding of Python and object-oriented programming principles.
- Basic web development knowledge including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
- Familiar with relational databases and SQL fundamentals.
- Motivated to learn emerging technologies and frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective teamwork and communication abilities.
- Experience with Django or similar web frameworks like Flask.
- Understanding of front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and deployment platforms like Heroku or AWS.
- Participation in web development projects, hackathons, or coding contests is an advantage.
