About the Role
We are seeking a creative and detail-focused Video Editor to join our Ranchi-based team at Inspire Global Ventures. The successful candidate will have practical experience with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut and a passion for visual storytelling. We value individuals with a growth mindset who actively follow the latest trends, technologies, and techniques in content creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform raw footage into polished and captivating videos suitable for social media, marketing campaigns, YouTube, and other platforms.
- Use Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, and other tools as necessary to trim clips, sync audio, and enhance clips with transitions, effects, texts, and graphics.
- Collaborate with content and marketing teams to interpret video briefs and bring creative concepts to life.
- Incorporate background music, sound effects, voiceovers, and subtitles as required.
- Ensure that all video content maintains consistent style, tone, and brand identity.
- Stay informed on current video formats like Reels and Shorts along with editing trends and industry practices.
- Efficiently organize and manage video files, project assets, and maintain version control.
- Respond constructively to feedback and revise edits to meet quality standards.
- Continually update skills by learning new editing software, tools, and video production techniques.
Required Skills
- Proficient use of Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut.
- Basic understanding of video formats, resolutions, and export procedures.
- Strong sense of pacing, timing, visual storytelling, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn emerging software, trends, and editing techniques.
- Curiosity about current social media trends, cultural movements, and content creation styles.
- Effective time management skills to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)
- Knowledge of color grading and correction techniques.
