About the Role
The Tool Engineer position at Magnaplast Technologies India Private Limited is based at their facility in Bhosari, Pune. The role focuses on overseeing the complete lifecycle of tooling systems to ensure smooth and effective manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the design, development, and upkeep of tooling equipment.
- Guarantee the availability and optimal functioning of tools necessary for production processes.
- Drive cost efficiency and manage the lifecycle of tooling assets.
- Collaborate closely with production and design teams to align tooling activities.
- Introduce process improvements to enhance tooling operations.
- Maintain stringent quality and precision standards in tooling.
- Lead and develop the skill set of the tool room team.
Requirements
- Proficient in tooling design and manufacturing techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and systems.
- Three to ten years of experience in tooling design, development, maintenance, and tool room operations.
- Experience in sectors such as Heavy Engineering, Precision Components, or Plastic Injection Molding/Rubber industries is advantageous.
Compensation
This role offers a monthly salary range of 25,000 to 45,000 INR.
