Role Overview

The Task Associate contributes to Ulta Beauty's operational success by ensuring merchandise availability, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks to support sales goals. This role works closely with Merchandise and Operations Managers to uphold high standards for store performance, guest service, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support meeting retail targets by ensuring all operational tasks are completed and products remain accessible.
• Achieve compliance with task dashboards and operational processes including inventory handling, merchandise setup, and shipment processing.
• Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
• Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for teammates and guests alike.
• Engage in ongoing brand and category training to enhance skills and boost sales.
• Adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, and dress code standards.
• Execute merchandise resets, prepare planograms, marketing displays, and physical inventory operations using company technologies.
• Maintain organized and well-stocked work areas, ensure testers are accessible, and uphold store appearance including sales floor, restrooms, backroom, and break areas.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention guidelines and delivering excellent guest service.
• Perform additional operational duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma preferred.
• At least one year of relevant work experience or a comparable mix of education and experience is desired.
• Comfortable using basic technology such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Ability to function effectively both independently and collaboratively within teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.

Working Conditions

• Must be able to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and twist frequently during shifts.
• Capable of lifting, carrying, and moving items up to 25 lbs regularly.
• Constant mobility throughout the store is required.

Additional Details

• Flexible scheduling including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
• Compensation ranges from $16.00 to $20.00 per hour, influenced by education, experience, shift, location, and organizational needs.
