Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Tech Lead to spearhead performance and feasibility assessments for end-user storefronts, backend operations, and database queries. This role involves architecting and documenting strategies to optimize performance across diverse workload scales. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and refining a comprehensive run book for performance and feasibility testing procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct performance and feasibility evaluations for customer-facing storefronts, backend systems, and database query efficiency.
- Design and maintain documentation outlining solutions for performance enhancements tailored to varying workload demands.
- Develop and improve a detailed run book guiding performance and feasibility testing methodologies.
Required Skills and Technical Expertise
- Proficiency with performance testing tools and methodologies.
- Strong expertise in SQL and PostgreSQL database management.
- Advanced knowledge of Java programming language and backend technology stacks.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform.
- Capability to develop optimized backend jobs and queries targeting peak efficiency.
