Senior Software Engineer (Web)

Role Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in web technologies, you will partner with engineering teams and key stakeholders to enhance the efficiency of software delivery, improve system stability, and optimize engineering methodologies. You will play a pivotal role in assessing current systems and workflows to uncover enhancement opportunities and propose industry-leading practices such as Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to drive team success.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical and business teams to advance software deployment and dependability.
• Analyze existing infrastructures and operational flows to pinpoint areas for refinement.
• Advocate best practices including CI/CD pipelines and SRE to align with team objectives.
• Develop strategic roadmaps for the integration of new tools, processes, and engineering competencies.
• Effectively articulate complex technical concepts to audiences with varied technical understanding.
• Provide support for proof-of-concept initiatives and assist during initial project phases.
• Share expertise, tools, and methodologies with fellow engineers to foster knowledge exchange.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years experience contributing individually in software engineering roles.
• Proficient in React and TypeScript for building modern web applications.
• Familiarity with Node.js is beneficial.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is advantageous.
• Track record of delivering enterprise-level, large-scale software solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to engage both technical experts and business personnel.
• Experience operating within secure or air-gapped environments (including sectors like government, banking, or other regulated industries) is considered a plus.
