Role Overview
We seek a Senior Software Engineer to spearhead the Android and iOS development of Notewise. Ideal candidates are seasoned engineers adept at managing complex mobile apps, influencing software architecture, and championing engineering excellence across the team. This role involves working on advanced mobile, cloud, and AI technologies with a product that reaches millions worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and deployment of new Android and iOS features.
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through rigorous code reviews and adherence to best practices.
- Convert product priorities into effective technical strategies and execution plans.
- Evaluate risks and propose appropriate mitigation tactics and architectural choices.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, design, QA, and management stakeholders to deliver solutions efficiently.
- Provide technical leadership to guide team direction and uplift engineering standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Extensive experience and proficiency in native Android development using Java and Kotlin.
- Strong knowledge of modern Android frameworks and technologies; JNI or Graphics experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with native iOS development using Swift is a plus.
- In-depth understanding of multi-threaded programming, networking, memory management, and database architecture.
- Solid computer science fundamentals combined with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proven track record of leading technical projects and shaping software decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification required.
- Minimum five years of professional Android development experience.
