Role Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Frontend (UI) Engineer to contribute to our AI Lab by designing, building, and improving complex user interfaces for our modern integration platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to create innovative features using advanced JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. You will be responsible for developing reusable front-end components, addressing performance bottlenecks, architecting elegant solutions for challenging problems, and owning projects or features across the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Create efficient, reusable frontend components
- Work collaboratively with Product Managers and UX Designers to refine designs and implementations
- Analyze and mitigate frontend performance issues
- Develop simple, innovative solutions for complex coding and architectural challenges
- Take full ownership of assigned projects or features
- Participate actively in all stages of the software development process
Qualifications & Requirements
- Over 5 years of professional experience in front-end software development
- Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent academic qualification
- Proficient with Angular framework
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience building responsive and accessible web UIs using latest HTML/CSS standards
- Strong understanding of browser internals and the Document Object Model (DOM)
- Knowledge of web security best practices, SEO, and accessibility standards
- Experience optimizing browser performance
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including code reviews, source control, testing, and build procedures
- Experience delivering large-scale web applications
- Knowledge of QA automation tools such as Jasmine, Mocha, Selenium, or similar
- Experience with or willingness to learn TypeScript
- Comfortable using Unix command line interface
- Contributions to open-source projects is a plus
