Role Overview
We are growing our onsite product engineering team in Abu Dhabi and seek a seasoned Senior Frontend Engineer focused on crafting high-quality code. The role involves deep engagement in feature creation, collaborating with UI/UX partners to evolve our design system, and contributing to key architectural decisions that empower our AI-supported platform. This position requires adaptability across different tasks, including new features, design system enhancements, and refining software development lifecycle practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver sophisticated user-facing features leveraging modern TypeScript and React frameworks.
- Engage actively in architecture design sessions, evaluate technical proposals, and influence frontend architectural choices.
- Cooperate with UI/UX teams to advance and polish the component library, ensuring it meets standards of accessibility, consistency, and efficiency.
- Choose to rotate among feature development, performance tuning, tool improvements, and design system enhancements to contribute effectively.
- Promote high code quality through adoption of automated testing, CI/CD processes, and rigorous code-review standards to maintain a fast yet reliable release cycle.
- Enhance developer productivity by assessing new libraries, suggesting refactors, and introducing tools that improve frontend engineering workflows.
Required Qualifications
- At least five years of professional experience creating production-level frontend web applications.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React or similar component-based frameworks, along with expertise in contemporary CSS methods such as Flexbox, Grid, and CSS preprocessors/postprocessors.
- Solid understanding of fundamental data structures and their implementation.
- Experience with automated testing methodologies including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests as well as CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Comfortable working within agile teams, conducting code reviews, and producing clear technical documentation.
