Key Responsibilities

• Develop and own comprehensive delivery strategies and roadmaps for large, multi-team engineering programs, managing planning, resource allocation, risk assessment, dependencies, and stakeholder communication.
• Collaborate with Principal Engineers and Architecture leads to convert technical visions into actionable delivery milestones.
• Guide teams through organizational and technical transformations such as platform migrations and process changes while maintaining productivity and morale.
• Ensure quality assurance and system stability, including spearheading test automation, performance benchmarking, release readiness, incident management, and adherence to service level agreements.
• Create and improve delivery frameworks, governance protocols, and reporting mechanisms tailored to project scale and complexity.
• Proactively identify and mitigate systemic risks like technical debt, resource shortfalls, and cross-team dependencies before they impede progress.
• Drive continual enhancements in engineering practices through retrospectives, performance metrics evaluation, cycle-time analysis, and process optimization.
• Mentor technical managers and leads to develop a robust leadership pipeline within the engineering organization.
• Lead enterprise-wide strategies for agentic AI-enabled engineering and SDLC/TLM automation, establishing standards and guardrails for AI-driven workflows and release governance.
• Leverage knowledge of SDLC toolchains and AI-assisted development tools to promote cross-domain reuse and improve capacity across departments.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least 10 years in leadership roles overseeing end-to-end technical project and program delivery, with a total of around 20 years' experience including 5+ years at Director level.
• Proven success managing complex, multi-team programs delivered on schedule and at scale.
• Broad technical expertise across full stack technologies: API design (REST, gRPC, GraphQL), AWS cloud services (EKS, networking, serverless, IAM), CI/CD, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), event streaming (Kafka, Kinesis), content delivery networks, front-end ecosystems, observability tooling (Datadog, CloudWatch, SLOs/SLIs), scalable databases (PostgreSQL, Neo4j), security, compliance, and QA automation.
• Adept at assessing and challenging architectural designs and documentation, encouraging sound technical decisions without micromanagement.
• Experienced with flexible application of modern delivery methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
• Exceptional communicator capable of translating complex engineering information into clear messages for stakeholders at all levels.
• Skilled in building consensus and achieving results across diverse organizations with competing priorities.
• Proven ability to develop and lead high-performing delivery teams.
• Influential leadership that fosters trust among engineers, product owners, and executives.
• Experienced in implementing agentic AI-enabled engineering operating models, including governance, quality assurance, and secure data handling.
