Python Game Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Python Game Developer responsible for creating engaging games, simulations, or game development tools using Python. The role demands expertise in Python programming combined with a focus on game-specific development, producing clean, maintainable systems that appeal to game designers and engineers alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain game features, backend systems, and tools using Python
• Implement game logic, simulation mechanisms, and AI behaviors
• Create internal pipelines and tools that support designers and content creators
• Integrate Python components with game engines, servers, or web platforms
• Identify and resolve issues across the entire game technology stack
• Participate in code reviews and uphold high engineering standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years professional Python development experience, preferably related to games or simulations
• Strong command of Python including asynchronous programming, performance tuning, and packaging
• Experience with Python-based game frameworks such as Pygame, Panda3D, Ren'Py or involvement with Python in game engines like Maya, Blender, or Unreal
• Knowledge of game backend services, multiplayer systems, or simulation engines is advantageous
• Familiarity with version control systems, software testing, and continuous integration processes
• Solid foundation in software engineering principles
