Product Manager - Insulation

Overview

The Product Manager will be responsible for overseeing both the commercial and technical success of the insulation product portfolio. This position requires a combination of product expertise and strategic sales oversight to ensure the products meet market demands in terms of performance, positioning, and customer engagement. The role involves close collaboration with sales, marketing, research and development, and production departments with the objective of driving business growth and maximizing profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire product lifecycle from initial development through market introduction and continuous performance optimization.
• Create and implement sales strategies aimed at achieving revenue and profit targets for the product line.
• Offer technical assistance and conduct product training sessions for sales personnel, distributors, and customers.
• Conduct market analysis including competitor activities and customer feedback to guide product positioning and pricing decisions.
• Liaise with R&D and production teams to upgrade product features and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Develop product datasheets, presentations, and marketing collateral in partnership with the marketing team.
• Represent the organization at industry events such as exhibitions, trade fairs, and client meetings to promote the products and identify new business opportunities.
• Track inventory levels, predict demand, and work with the supply chain to maintain product availability.
• Explore and develop novel applications for insulation and HVAC products within targeted markets.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Between 5 and 8 years of professional experience in product management, sales, or technical positions within insulation, HVAC, or building materials industries.
• Comprehensive technical knowledge of insulation materials and their practical applications.
• Demonstrated ability to translate technical information into effective commercial strategies.
• Strong skills in communication, presentation, and negotiation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
• Readiness to travel when necessary for client engagements, site inspections, and industry exhibitions.
