Phlebotomist - Home Sample Collection

Overview

Thyrocare Technologies Pvt Ltd is seeking a Phlebotomist responsible for visiting patients' residences to collect blood samples and perform ECG tests. The role requires maintaining stringent hygiene standards, correctly labeling and documenting samples, and ensuring their prompt, safe transport to the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to patients' homes based on designated schedules to collect samples.
• Perform blood withdrawal via Vacutainer techniques and other collection methods accurately and safely.
• Conduct ECG procedures as necessary.
• Ensure precise labeling, barcoding, and documentation of all samples.
• Maintain sample integrity by following cold chain procedures and delivering samples timely to labs.
• Communicate test procedures and fasting instructions to patients when applicable.

Qualification & Experience

• Certification in DMLT or MLT is compulsory; candidates holding B.Sc Nursing or GNM qualifications may also be considered.
• At least six months of experience specifically in Vacutainer blood collection is required.
• Prior experience with home collection services is preferred.
• Possession of a two-wheeler and valid driving license mandatory.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned area of Bangalore.

Compensation & Working Hours

The salary structure guarantees a minimum of 185 collections per month, compensated at Rs.150 per sample collected. Full-time working hours are from 6 am to 2 pm, while part-time shifts run from 6 am to 11 am. The services are required throughout Bangalore.
