Performance Tester

Role Overview

The Performance Tester role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions without coding, predominantly utilizing Tricentis Tosca, to improve application quality. This role involves constructing reusable test components, executing functional and regression testing across web and mobile platforms, integrating testing within CI/CD pipelines, and implementing risk-based testing approaches to increase release frequency and efficiency.

Required Expertise and Technologies

• Proficient in LoadRunner, JMeter, Dynatrace, and Grafana tools for performance testing.
• Skilled in performance testing of web applications, APIs, and mobile applications.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Hands-on expertise in LoadRunner, including LoadRunner Cloud, along with comprehensive end-to-end test architecture design.
• Conduct web and API performance testing through LoadRunner and JMeter, analyzing response times, breakdowns, and threshold points for applications and microservices.
• Develop and uphold enterprise-wide performance testing strategies, standards, and governance aligned to service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Lead capacity planning, performance forecasting, and scalability evaluations when required.
• Design and implement performance test frameworks, scripting, and execution, utilizing performance analysis tools.
• Execute non-functional testing such as load, volume, stress, and back-out testing.
• Communicate complex technical information effectively to management and stakeholders.
• Perform debugging and identify performance bottlenecks, independently managing the entire performance testing lifecycle.
• Collaborate well with team members and manage stakeholder expectations efficiently.
