About the Role

This opportunity is based at our Riccarton store in Christchurch, a lively mall location with six advanced test rooms and a robust team of eight Optometrists. This dynamic environment offers high patient throughput and extensive clinical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert eye care services using advanced diagnostic technology, including OCT scans, HFA-3 Visual Fields, auto-phoropters, autorefractors, and non-contact tonometers.
- Focus on myopia management and paediatric eye care, addressing a broad and clinically interesting patient base.
- Provide advanced contact lens fittings, including RGP lenses and orthokeratology, and manage an increasing number of patients with dry eye conditions.
- Contribute to community health initiatives, supporting partnerships that restore sight and improve eye care accessibility.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Optometrist with appropriate clinical expertise.
- Strong interest in clinical development areas like myopia control, paediatric care, contact lens fitting, and dry eye management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting while delivering compassionate patient care.
