Role Overview

The Merchandiser position is a full-time, on-site role located at Active Home Centre in Kingston. The main responsibilities involve organizing and implementing product displays that maintain visual appeal and comply with brand standards. Daily duties encompass monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, rotating items, pricing and labeling merchandise, and collaborating closely with sales and purchasing departments to effectively manage promotions and seasonal campaigns.

Regular assessment of sales metrics and customer insights informs adjustments in product placement to enhance the retail experience. Maintaining merchandising quality standards, ensuring retail spaces are tidy and organized, and providing product knowledge assistance to customers and team members are key components of the job.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Prior experience in home improvement, furniture, or related retail domains is beneficial.
• Minimum educational attainment of a high school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in retail or merchandising is advantageous.
