About the Role

We seek a skilled landscaper with hands-on experience to join our corporate campus groundskeeping team in Oklahoma City. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of plants, trees, and landscaping techniques essential for maintaining a beautiful and healthy environment.

Work Schedule and Compensation

The position offers a starting wage of $20.15 per hour, with work hours beginning at 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday. Weekend work may be required as needed to meet landscaping demands.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Utilize previous landscaping experience in daily grounds maintenance tasks.
• Identify and understand various plants, trees, flowers, and shrubs.
• Diagnose individual plant needs and recognize common fungal diseases and insect damage, providing suitable treatments.
• Apply knowledge of grade development to ensure proper drainage.
• Execute sod laying to match existing areas seamlessly.
• Properly spread mulch in landscaped beds.
• Apply fertilizer and pre-emergent treatments to maintain plant health and control weeds.
• Manage appropriate watering techniques to support healthy plant and tree growth.
• Perform digging across diverse soil types and conditions.
• Operate landscaping machinery such as skid steers and tractors is preferred but not mandatory.

Teamwork and Supervision

This position reports to the crew Team Leader and requires collaboration within a team environment. Candidates must be open to following directions and contributing to the needs of a large corporate property.
