Java Springboot Developer

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Java Springboot Developer proficient in Core Java and the Spring ecosystem to design, develop, and deploy robust server-side applications. The role involves working within an Agile environment to build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot framework.
• Implement and manage Microservices architecture in line with project needs.
• Design and build RESTful web services and APIs.
• Collaborate effectively with Business Analysts, Product Owners, QA, and other project stakeholders.
• Conduct code reviews to enforce best coding practices and standards.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of existing software solutions.
• Participate actively in Agile rituals such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Support production deployments and assist in ongoing maintenance activities.

Technical Skills & Requirements

• Strong expertise in Core Java versions 8, 11, and 17 or higher.
• Proven hands-on experience with Spring Boot and related Spring modules including Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
• Solid understanding of Microservices architecture principles.
• Skilled in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Experience working with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate and JPA.
• Proficiency with relational databases including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server with strong SQL querying capabilities.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Knowledge of build automation tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Experience in unit testing using JUnit and Mockito frameworks.
