Home Delivery Driver

About the Role

Iceland Foods is seeking Home Delivery Drivers who enjoy an active role and engaging directly with customers while representing the company. This role involves delivering grocery orders safely and efficiently, ensuring that products reach customers in excellent condition, and providing friendly service.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow safe procedures when loading the delivery van, including manual handling and lifting.
• Drive responsibly and adhere strictly to all safe driving practices.
• Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure the van is in good working order.
• Ensure all food items are delivered in optimal condition to customers.
• Offer outstanding customer service during all interactions.
• Assist with tasks in store as needed.
• Work independently while managing time effectively.
• Be flexible to work shifts that may start as early as 6am or end as late as 11pm.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full UK driving license held for a minimum of three years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Be positive, personable, and enthusiastic about delivering excellent customer experiences.
• Be punctual and capable of meeting deadlines reliably.
• Maintain strong awareness and practice of road safety standards.
