About the Role
This position is for a general manager role at a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee, not by McDonald’s USA directly. The franchisee independently handles all employment-related matters including hiring, supervision, scheduling, and discipline. McDonald's USA is not involved in employment decisions or access to applications.
Job Overview
As a General Manager, you will lead a high-volume restaurant to achieve profitability and uphold McDonald’s strict standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. You will collaborate with leadership to establish restaurant goals and strategically plan to meet them.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and guide a team of Department Managers by setting their goals, monitoring progress, providing coaching, and improving department performance to enhance overall restaurant success. The role also involves hiring and developing management staff, such as Department and Shift Managers, to ensure a strong leadership team.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Candidates should have prior experience managing high-volume restaurants, preferably in quick service, hospitality, or retail sectors. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to qualify for management roles at corporate-owned locations.
