Job description
Role Overview
The General Manager is charged with running a profitable McDonald's restaurant while ensuring the highest standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness are consistently met. Collaborating with leadership, the General Manager establishes the restaurant’s objectives and develops strategies to fulfill these goals.
Team Leadership and Development
This role requires leading a team of Department Managers, guiding them to set departmental objectives, monitoring their progress, and offering coaching to enhance performance across departments. The General Manager may also handle recruiting and nurturing Department and Shift Managers to maintain a strong leadership pipeline for the restaurant's future success.
Preferred Experience
Ideal applicants have prior General Manager experience in managing high-volume locations, preferably within quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail sectors. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to manage corporate owned locations.
