Role Summary

The Floral Designer position is a full-time, on-site role based in Sharjah Emirate, focused on crafting and assembling flower arrangements, bouquets, and decorative floral pieces for retail sales, special orders, and events. Responsibilities include selecting and preparing flowers, managing floral inventory, maintaining attractive and updated shop displays, and caring for flowers and plants to ensure freshness. Interaction with customers to understand their requirements, provide design suggestions, process orders, and assist with point-of-sale duties is integral. The designer collaborates with the store team to uphold brand standards and maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace, especially during busy periods such as holidays.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in floral design and flower arrangement with strong attention to color, composition, and detail.
• Capability in customer service and sales to effectively engage customers, comprehend their needs, and facilitate retail transactions.
• Creativity skills to generate unique floral designs, adapt to client preferences, and stay current with floral trends.
• Prior experience in a flower shop, event floral design, or similar retail environment is advantageous.
• Availability for full-time on-site work, including weekends and holidays, with the physical ability to stand, lift, and perform manual tasks safely.
• Strong English communication skills; proficiency in additional languages such as Arabic is a plus.
• Basic organizational and time management abilities to prioritize multiple orders and meet deadlines.
