Job description
Job Overview
MAC.BID operates by purchasing truckloads of customer returns and excess stock, then reselling these units individually to consumers via online auctions. The Facility Floater supports all functions within the facilities department to maintain smooth daily operations and reports directly to the Facilities Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Clearing, gathering, inventorying, and sorting pallets efficiently.
- Maintaining cleanliness of warehouse and office areas using mops, brooms, and vacuums.
- Managing waste by emptying garbage bins and adhering to dumpster vendor guidelines.
- Collecting and baling cardboard for recycling purposes.
- Receiving and unloading incoming trailers promptly at the dock to prevent retention fees.
- Assisting with other duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Availability to work onsite Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break; scheduled two days off weekly with hours adjusted per workload and supervisor direction.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds unaided and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Capable of standing and walking for extended periods during shifts.
- Comprehension and adherence to written instructions and company policies.
