Role Overview
The CSA Project Manager based at Moneypoint, County Clare, Ireland, is responsible for managing all facets of assigned construction and engineering projects. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, development and implementation of execution strategies, site logistics planning, schedules, budgets, quality and EHS management plans, as well as leadership of construction and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure comprehensive delivery of projects.
- Create effective project execution strategies tailored to site requirements.
- Plan and oversee site logistics including mobilisation and demobilisation activities.
- Design and maintain project schedules aligned with milestones, ensuring coordination among all trades and construction teams.
- Prepare and manage project budgets and cost plans.
- Review, approve, and enforce project quality plans and procedures.
- Develop and implement Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management plans.
- Lead, manage, and motivate project construction and engineering teams.
- Establish and agree on submission and approval workflows with clients and design consultants.
- Monitor material procurement timelines to align with project schedules.
- Select and appoint subcontractors and suppliers in line with project needs and specifications.
- Conduct weekly coordination meetings involving internal team members, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain project performance.
- Supervise project cost and revenue controls, issue weekly performance reports.
- Participate in client and project management meetings to facilitate progress.
- Liaise with senior management of subcontractors and suppliers at steering committee levels to prevent project obstacles.
- Maintain ongoing collaboration with design teams to ensure seamless project performance.
- Develop and implement testing and commissioning protocols.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Preferably over 7 years of relevant project management experience in construction.
- Proven ability to build and sustain strong working relationships and manage stakeholders effectively.
- Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- High attention to detail and precision in all aspects of work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
