Core Full Stack Engineer – Platform & Products

About the Company and Role

We are an under-the-radar startup located in Doha focused on developing an intelligent AI platform designed for organizations managing project work such as contractors, engineering and consulting firms, facilities operators, and governmental departments.

This position involves taking ownership of the platform that powers our AI agents, encompassing web applications, role-based access control, and essential backend services to securely enable teams to integrate AI agents into ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and support web-based applications including the Agentic Orchestration layer, workflows, and the SaaS platform.
• Design and implement backend APIs to bridge AI capabilities with the product ecosystem.
• Collaborate closely with AI, Machine Learning, and MLOps teams to deliver integrated features end-to-end.
• Manage GitHub workflows, code review processes, branching strategies, and continuous integration pipelines.
• Guarantee that the platform is secure, scalable, and ready for production environments.
• Take AI functionalities from experimental stages through to production deployment.
• Develop connectors for integration with existing enterprise systems like Oracle, Yardi, SAP, and Dynamics.
• Maintain Python backend services hosted on Google Cloud and Firebase platforms.
• Implement frontend components using React and Next.js frameworks, supporting bilingual interfaces in Arabic and English.
• Advance team practices in AI-assisted development, including prompt evaluations and determining automation boundaries.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Proven experience with contemporary web technologies such as React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience integrating AI agents within multi-tenant SaaS environments.
• Strong database competencies, particularly with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proficient in using GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and maintaining high standards of code quality.
• Experience delivering enterprise-grade web software.
• A minimum of six years in software development, focusing significantly on backend development.
• Advanced Python programming skills beyond just framework utilization.
• Hands-on experience deploying Large Language Model (LLM) capabilities commercially, with awareness of prototype versus production reliability, including considerations for retrieval, prompt engineering, output structuring, failure mitigation, cost, and latency.
• Practices comprehensive evaluation and regression tests for non-deterministic AI outputs.
• Deep familiarity with integrating enterprise systems like Oracle or Yardi and handling real-world customer data models.
• Daily experience with coding agents and an informed perspective on their limitations.
• Candidates should currently reside in Qatar or be willing to relocate there.

Desirable Qualifications

• Background with AI-driven or data-intensive product platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructures such as Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, or AWS.
• Experience in industries like construction, engineering, facilities management, procurement, or energy sectors.
• Prior involvement in early-stage startup environments.
