About The Role

Join Dyno Nobel as an Assembly Operator in Toowoomba, Queensland. We seek individuals eager to learn and contribute to an inclusive, safe, and high-performing team environment. This role involves assembling quality explosive products using advanced fixed plant equipment, supporting our leadership in the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Support our Zero Harm safety culture through positive engagement
  • Assemble explosive products accurately and to high standards
  • Identify and suggest improvements to plant operations to enhance safety, productivity, and quality while minimizing waste
  • Maintain accurate documentation and promptly report any quality issues
  • Keep work areas, including break rooms and kitchens, clean and safe

What You'll Bring

  • Strong dedication to contributing positively to a safe, inclusive, and high-performance culture
  • A commitment to championing a Zero Harm safety approach
  • Willingness to learn and adapt by training on new equipment and procedures to meet production goals
  • Ability to obtain Queensland Explosives Security Clearance (includes national police check)
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills, with effective communication abilities
  • Valid current driver’s license

Working Conditions and Benefits

  • Annual salary of $58,000 plus shift allowance and 12% superannuation based on 38 hours per week
  • Full-time afternoon shift from 3pm to 11pm, Monday to Friday
