About the internship

This remote internship is for a detail-focused software testing trainee who wants to build hands-on experience in quality assurance for AI-enabled products. You’ll help check that features work correctly before release, with a mix of manual, functional, regression, and API testing across web and AI-based applications.

The role is well-suited to someone who enjoys finding issues, validating fixes, and making sure software is dependable in real use. You will work closely with developers, product, and engineering teams to support release readiness and product quality.

Key responsibilities

Run manual, functional, and regression tests on web applications and AI-powered products.
Check API behaviour for correctness, reliability, and unusual edge cases using tools such as Postman.
Draft and execute test cases, test plans, and clear bug reports.
Perform smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing for new builds and releases.
Log, track, and manage defects using tools like Jira or Trello.
Work with developers to reproduce issues, investigate problems, and confirm fixes.
Test AI-based features such as voice agents and LLM systems for accuracy and stability.
Help improve QA documentation and internal testing processes.
Support deployment readiness by validating features before they go live.
Coordinate with product and engineering teams to keep product quality high.

Requirements

Foundational knowledge of software testing, including manual, functional, and regression testing.
Comfort using API testing tools such as Postman or similar alternatives.
Basic SQL knowledge for checking and validating data.
Strong attention to detail with solid analytical thinking.
Ability to communicate issues clearly in written and verbal form.
Strong sense of ownership and thoroughness in testing and verification.
Basic scripting knowledge in Python or JavaScript for automation-related work.
Previous internship or project exposure in QA or software testing is a plus.

Who can apply

This opportunity is open to candidates who can work from home, are available to begin between 29 June 2026 and 3 August 2026, and can commit to a 6-month internship. Applicants should have relevant skills and interest in software testing. Computer Science Engineering students may apply, and freshers seeking jobs may also be considered.
