Internship Overview

This Cyber Security internship offers hands-on experience in safeguarding digital environments by monitoring security threats and optimizing protection systems. Candidates will engage in diverse responsibilities ranging from network security observation to supporting cloud security efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network traffic for unauthorized activities, analyze suspicious events, and review log files in a SOC Analyst role.
• Participate in the development, deployment, and upkeep of security tools such as firewalls and encryption mechanisms.
• Assist with penetration testing to uncover vulnerabilities and reinforce system defenses.
• Contribute to incident management by investigating and mitigating security breaches to limit impact.
• Manage user access controls through Identity and Access Management (IAM) procedures.
• Support the protection of cloud platforms like AWS and Azure by identifying and addressing misconfigurations.
• Help design and implement the organization's comprehensive security architecture.

Candidate Profile and Eligibility

Applicants should be available for a part-time role lasting for one month, able to start between August 24, 2026, and September 28, 2026. Ideal candidates include Computer Science Engineering students and freshers seeking career opportunities in cybersecurity. Candidates must possess relevant skills and a keen interest in the field.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, and familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience or knowledge of security technologies such as SIEM systems, firewalls, and tools like Splunk.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with ethical hacking methods and cybersecurity standards like NIST.
• Awareness of techniques for threat detection, security monitoring, and incident response.
• Preferably hold certifications like CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or CEH.

Compensation and Benefits

The internship provides a monthly stipend ranging from ₹26,000 to ₹27,500, composed of a fixed component (₹25,000-₹26,000) plus incentives (₹1,000-₹1,500). Additional perks include a certificate of completion, a letter of recommendation, flexible work schedules, casual dress code, five working days per week, complimentary snacks and beverages, and a potential job offer upon successful completion.

• Successful interns may receive a job offer with an annual salary between ₹500,000 and ₹700,000 upon permanent employment.
