Termite Technician

About the Role

Join a leading global pest control company dedicated to protecting properties from termite damage. As a Termite Technician, you will be vital in safeguarding customers' homes and businesses by inspecting, preventing, and treating wood-destroying insect infestations.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose termite infestations by understanding their behaviors and habits to recommend effective remedial actions.
• Conduct termite treatment procedures strictly following safety standards and company protocols.
• Apply anti-termite solutions to structures according to scheduled plans and usage guidelines.
• Communicate with customers about any conditions conducive to termite activity and discuss additional structural modifications or treatments needed.
• Ensure all work orders and job specifications are accurate and complete.
• Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment responsibly.
• Document all services performed using production forms.
• Effectively interact with customers to explain services rendered and answer questions.

Essential Physical and Technical Functions

• Work under varying environmental conditions including seasonal weather, dampness, and dusty environments.
• Prepare job sites for termite treatments.
• Access confined spaces, crawl spaces, stairways, ladders, roofs, and other high or cramped areas comfortably and safely.
• Perform physical tasks involving significant movement: climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
• Wear personal protective equipment such as OSHA-compliant respirators when required.
• General skills in labor including carpentry, cement work, roofing, gutter maintenance, and attic work are advantageous.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be clean-shaven to ensure proper safety equipment fitting.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license from your state of residence; company vehicle and fuel card will be provided.
• At least one year of customer service experience; prior termite control knowledge is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn new skills.
• Flexibility to work Monday through Friday with possible Saturdays as needed.
• Licenses or certifications as required by relevant federal, state, or local regulations will be provided by the company.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division involving whole numbers, fractions, and decimals to follow product mixing instructions.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay is hourly between $16.90 and $21.00, with benefits starting immediately for full-time employees.
