Role Overview

Reporting to the department Supervisor, the Sewing Floor Helper is accountable for ensuring production operators are sufficiently supplied and continuously engaged in their tasks to meet daily production goals across sewing, down filling, and sorting areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate daily with the supervisor to review the factory loading schedule and understand production targets.
• Examine approved production samples and specifications with the supervisor before starting production on each purchase order.
• Manage department workflow by providing continuous work streams to operators.
• Communicate proactively with the supervisor about operator workloads to anticipate and manage work distribution effectively.
• Oversee the timely recut or replacement of panels or garments to maintain order progress.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization by daily cleanup of thread cones and their storage until order completion.
• Ensure completed work is transferred promptly to the next department.
