Senior Java Developer

Role Overview

This position is for a seasoned Java Developer with expertise in building scalable microservices and using cloud technologies to deliver high-quality software. The candidate will engage in agile development cycles, participate in architectural design, and collaborate closely with product and technical managers to build well-documented, reusable software components.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong proficiency in Core Java and software design principles.
• Extensive experience with J2EE technologies including Spring Framework, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Expertise in Spring Boot to develop RESTful web services and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in relational databases, especially MySQL.
• Familiarity with API documentation tools such as POSTMAN and Swagger.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Basic knowledge of caching solutions like Redis and search/indexing platforms such as Elasticsearch.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain high-quality code through rigorous code reviews and proactive defect prevention.
• Work collaboratively in small teams to design and deliver integrated products rapidly with thorough documentation.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum/Kanban environments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Partner with leadership to define project scope, plan activities, and develop architectural strategies.
• Promote best practices in software engineering and foster team collaboration to meet client requirements efficiently.
