Role Overview
Join Visteon as a UI Lead working remotely to develop and lead the Android Auto or Apple CarPlay frameworks for automotive platforms. This pivotal role involves managing multiple projects with a unified coding strategy and collaborating closely with customers to deliver technical insights related to these platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Android Auto or Apple CarPlay software frameworks tailored for automotive applications.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, ensuring quality and meeting project goals.
- Engage directly with clients, offering expert advice on Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto technologies.
- Manage concurrent projects using a single code baseline strategy to maximize efficiency and coherence.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ or Java.
- In-depth understanding of the internals of Apple CarPlay and/or Google Android Auto platforms.
- Experience in obtaining certifications for Apple CarPlay or Google Android Auto on at least one project.
- Hands-on experience using debugging tools including GAL and ATS.
