Job Summary
The organization seeks a seasoned Python Developer with at least six years of relevant experience. This role demands expertise in backend development, robust API integration, scalable application architecture, and adherence to software development best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, test, and sustain scalable Python applications.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and launch new features.
- Produce reusable, optimized, and secure code.
- Enhance application throughput and resolve production-level issues.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs seamlessly.
- Conduct code reviews ensuring compliance with coding standards.
- Work alongside DevOps teams to facilitate deployment and continuous integration/delivery.
- Document technical processes and support software releases.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Strong familiarity with REST APIs and microservices-based architectures.
- Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
- Comfortable using Git version control and branching methodologies.
- Working knowledge of major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, also CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
- Solid debugging and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with data manipulation libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
- Experience with automation and scripting.
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum software development methodologies.
- Exposure to messaging frameworks such as Kafka.
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Master's in Technology.
Additional Qualifications
- Certifications related to Python or cloud platforms.
- Experience working on AI, machine learning projects or with automation tools is advantageous.
