Instructional Designer

Role Overview

We are seeking an Instructional Designer to craft and create learning experiences that effectively influence behavior. This position merges learning science principles with practical production, transforming expert knowledge into impactful educational courses.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop various training formats including e-learning courses, instructor-led training, and blended learning programs.
• Perform needs assessments to establish clear, measurable learning objectives.
• Create storyboards, author content, and produce learning materials utilizing e-learning authoring software.
• Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to organize and capture their expertise effectively.
• Conduct pilot testing, collect feedback, and refine learning solutions to enhance effectiveness.
• Manage learning management system (LMS) maintenance and monitor learning analytics.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of three years experience in instructional or learning experience design.
• Proficient in authoring tools including Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Adobe Captivate.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design frameworks such as ADDIE and SAM.
• Experience with LMS platforms like Cornerstone, Docebo, and LearnUpon.
• Excellent writing skills and a keen eye for visual design.
• A portfolio showcasing previously designed learning experiences is essential.
