The Role
Memac Ogilvy Qatar seeks a mid-level Graphic Designer to join its creative team. The ideal candidate should be curious, culturally perceptive, and possess strong design sensibilities coupled with a passion for craftsmanship. This role requires conceptual thinking, excellence in execution, and the ability to collaborate to extend creative ideas beyond expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement visual concepts for branding, advertising, social media, digital platforms, and print materials.
- Create brand identities, visual systems, graphic devices, layouts, typography, and campaign collateral.
- Translate creative concepts into refined, multi-format graphic executions.
- Produce high-quality presentations, brand guidelines, and client-facing resources.
- Collaborate closely with Art Directors, Creative Directors, copywriters, and client servicing teams.
- Maintain creative consistency by adapting and deploying approved creative directions with precision.
- Investigate emerging visual trends, tools, and AI-aided design workflows to enhance output.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to raising the creative work's overall quality.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Between 3 to 5 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within an agency or creative studio setting.
- A strong portfolio showcasing work in branding, typography, layouts, and campaigns.
- Proficient with advanced features in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Excellent understanding of composition, color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy principles.
- Meticulous attention to detail with the capability to see projects through from initial concept to final execution.
- Familiarity with AI-driven design tools and presentation development is beneficial.
