General Laborer

Job Overview

Join Big Tex Trailer World as a General Laborer responsible for keeping the outdoor trailer and product display areas organized and presentable. Your role includes unloading and receiving freight, assembling trailers, assisting with service and maintenance duties, and supporting customer service to enhance sales and service operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble trailers efficiently and accurately.
• Park and reposition trailers on the lot as required.
• Wash and prepare trailers to be ready for delivery to customers.
• Assist customers with trailer hookup and conduct basic visual safety checks, including lights, safety chains, and decking.
• Maintain the outdoor lot through mowing, weed control, snow removal, trash collection, and installation of exterior signage such as banners or flags.
• Receive incoming trailers, parts, and supplies and ensure proper stocking.
• Support Service Technicians with their tasks when necessary.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures of the store as directed.
• Keep the store and support areas clean and organized.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Availability to work Monday through Saturday, including overtime when needed.
